Artist Statement 

After studying cinema in Paris, she worked as a film technician on several international projects, in parallel, she worked as an organizer for film festivals such as Cannes, Cairo, Biennale des films arabes in Paris.

In 2010, she left Paris for India. With Ashmith Kunder, they developed the project idea « The Mahârâjah of France ».
Between 2009 and 2011, she carried out several promotional projects, some of which were broadcast on TV. In 2011, she co-directed with filmmaker Farid Ismail a 26′ documentary on the Egyptian revolution « 18 days at the heart of the Egyptian revolution », selected at numerous festivals and broadcast on TV5 Afrique. In the same directed a clip to support Egyptians based abroad to acquire the right to vote. Since 2012, she has been working with an Egyptian filmmaker and photographer, Mahmoud Afify. They have directed numerous documentaries for companies such as L’Oréal, Rai uno, Al moniteur and many more. In 2014, she co-directed a short documentary in Morocco « Drinking fog », short listed by Sundance film instutute and a short fiction film « Sur la rode ».
